Seclusion Room doorsets
The Stafford Bridge Seclusion Room Doorsets have been designed and developed, in conjunction with nursing staff and management of special hospitals and secure units. They have been proven, over many years, to offer the security necessary for this unique environment. Meticulous attention has been given to the clientsí relevant operational requirements by their specialist staff, ensuring optimum security and safety levels are maintained. A solid hardwood lamel core door, 54mm thick as standard, coated in a Steriglaze two-pack coating and hung in a high-density hardwood frame offers an excellent finish, with a high level of resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage, whilst also allowing for ease of cleaning. The doorset is mortice fitted with a robust, well-engineered Surelock multiple bolting/locking system securing the door at the top, bottom and centre simultaneously, evenly distributing the load against repetitive patient abuse. All bolts are secured by the simple rotation of a key which may be chosen from a wide selection of lock manufacturers to meet preferred key suiting requirements. The door is hung using three, five knuckle security hinges with welded knuckles, preventing tampering to the hinge pin. Bronze bearings fitted in and between each knuckle ensure ease of operation and prevent hinge drop even after many years of heavy usage. A pair of hinge bolts are fitted to complete the all-round resistance to attack.
